Cowboy and Abby's Baptism

We had an amazing weekend back in Iowa with all of our family. Ryan and Sarah were back, as well as Jake, Annie and Abby from Colorado. Abby's baptism was Saturday evening and I'm so glad we could be there for that, too!

Before that...here's Kaitlynn in her cowboy gear. She loves these boots which were Emma's and then she always wants her pink Easter hat which she didn't even wear on Easter! She walks around the house saying "I a cowboy mommy"!!
Now on to the weekend...
When we first got to my parent's house Kaitlynn immediately found the swing. It's to be used on her new swing set which we still need to buy but she insisted on swinging. So, her uncle Ryan helped her out for a couple of brief minutes!

Then we went over to Grammy and Papa Sewing's house so she could meet her new cousin!!
She loves to rub her little head
hugs for baby Abby
So sweet!

Being an aunt is so much fun!!
"mooches" for her cousin
She was so sweet with baby Abby

Here's a video of Kaitlynn holding Abby

Here's our growing family
Godmother Jenna
All the girl cousins
with her "Uncle Drew" It was great to have him there for the weekend.
Great Grandma Wiese
Yummy Costco cakes
We all enjoyed opening Abby's gifts...
While Abby snoozed away with Aunt Jacquie.
She has started this pouty face thing when she thinks she's in trouble or she's just being honery. It's actually pretty cute!
Here's another example!
Happy Mother's Day to Grammy and Great Grandma
Isn't this a sweet picture of their little family?
She's so proud!!
Here we are with our favorite little girls. Please ignore the nose picking! And...
...this is what we thought our children would look like!

Here is a proud Papa with his granddaughters. Again...ignore the nose picking. She was a little obsessed with it for about 5 minutes which just happened to be when we were taking pictures!

We had such a nice time that it was really hard to leave. We're looking forward to lots of more time together this summer and can't wait for Kaitlynn and Abby to grow up together. We know they're going to be very special cousins and friends!

Easter Festivities

Daddy had to work so Kaitlynn and I trekked up to Iowa for Easter. We had a wonderful time with our families.
Excuse my glasses... I had a horrible cold which Kaitlynn ended up getting that next week.
Putting each egg in her basket one by one
Her dress was her 2nd Cousin, Asha's. I just loved it!
Taking some eggs to her basket
What is Grandma doing out there?
The Easter Bunny even came to Iowa!
It's still hard for me to believe that last year she wasn't even walking and now she's playing on the swing set by herself!
Happy Easter Grammy and Papa!
YAY! Pull-Ups for our big girl!
A rake and shovel to help mommy in the yard.
Love it!Ha ha!
Sitting in the tree with Papa
She loves to "help" Papa with the bird seed or bird feed as she calls it!

Here is an example of Kaitlynn taking her eggs one by one to her basket. Enjoy!

We even got to go over to Mark and Diane's and stay at their beautiful new house for the first time.
Sharing her ice cream with Great Grandma and Grandad
Yum! Homemade ice cream
She certainly loves her Uncle Ryan
