We're excited to announce...

that Kaitlynn is going to have another cousin! Ryan and Sarah are expecting a baby in December. I have a feeling it's going to be a boy, but we'll know for sure in August sometime.

Jersie helped share their news to us about a month ago!
They used map and directions to tell Grandma and Grandpa Hardie the big news!

Then Kaitlynn helped us announce the news to Mark, Diane, Grandma, Grandad and the rest of that crew this past weekend! This is the same shirt she wore when Annie and Jake announced that they were pregnant last summer. It fits her much better now!

Kaitlynn and I went up to Iowa last weekend because Annie and Abby were in town. We were able to come up Thursday evening after I got done at summer school and had 3 full days with everyone. We had such a nice time even though poor Kaitlynn was sick. More about that later...
She of course had to help Papa Hardie fill the bird feeder.

On Friday, Annie and I took Kaitlynn, Abby and Asha over to the Children's Museum. Kaitlynn was not in the best mood, but they all still had a great time!

We painted their facesShe had a "K" for Kaitlynn on the other side in blue of course because that seems to be her favorite color or maybe just because it's the one she knows for sure!!
You can always count on a smile from Asha!
This was our attempt to get all 3 girls in the shot, I got about 2 1/2 of them!
Shopping for some groceries
So cute! Annie and I were busy talking and then realized we could hear one of the girls snoring. We looked back and found them both snoozing with their heads leaning towards each other. Precious!
Thursday evening we went over to Grammy and Papa Sewing's house for dinner and we of course spent some time playing outside.
Abby joined us in her new stroller
Aunt Annie was looking for bugs. You can tell how not excited Kaitlynn was about this! She likes to say "Oh no bugs, don't get me!"

I had noticed that Kaitlynn's 2 year molars were starting to come in last Monday. She started to run a fever and was not sleeping or eating well that whole week. We attributed it all to her teeth coming in. I debated on taking her to the doctor before we left town on Thursday, but it just seemed like she had a cold so I decided to go ahead and take her without getting anything checked out. It turns out that might not have been the best choice. By Sunday I knew we needed to get her in to the doctor ASAP. Matt took her Monday morning and she ended up have an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. Poor thing! We've been doing breathing treatments 4 times a day, along with an inhaler (which she HATES!) and an antibiotic. Her coughing is getting much better so we're hoping to only have to do the treatments for a couple more days.

Here she is this morning...
She always looks really sad while she's doing it, but she's done such a great job! It took Matt and a nurse to hold her down at the doctor's office, but she's done great at home. We put Barney on the DVD player and give her a couple skittles when she's done. Everytime we take the mask off she days "I did it!"
