Here are some Thanksgiving pictures. Better late then never!

Birthday dinner for Grammy and Kaitlynn's first official time in a restaurant high chair!
She takes the best pictures with Grandpa Hardie!
Here she is with Great Grandma Wiese during her 2nd Thanksgiving meal.
Playing with the "big" girls!
Her favorite event of the evening was untying Great Grandpa Wiese's shoes!
First bath in a sink. She had a great time splashing!
Yummy! My first Thanksgiving meal in the same high chair my mommy used.
Hanging out with Uncle Ryan

This is a funny story from Monday evening! We don't have a gate put on our steps yet so Matt tried to block Kaitlynn in the living room by setting up the regular baby gate between the entertainment center and love seat. We have never actually used this gate for a baby but rather to contain our dog in the kitchen. All we have to do is lean it up against the wall and he's scared to death to go by it. As you can see from the following picture Kaitlynn is apparently MUCH braver then the dog! She knocked it down and then proceded to crawl right over the top. Apparently we will need a gate that is securely hooked into the wall!
When this picture was taken the gate was still knocked down on the floor and Tucker was panicked! He layed nicely to let Kaitlynn pet and cuddle with him for a little while!

Christmas Photo Shoot

Last week I attempted to do a little photo shoot with Kaitlynn right before she went to bed. This obviously wasn't the ideal time but I did end up getting a couple of cute shots for our Christmas cards. Her spitting up is getting bad again so as you can tell the white fur lasted all of 5 min. before it had a lovely orange stain. Oh well! I cropped the pictures and made them black and white so you can't see it.

She is now waving all the time but still prefers to "army crawl" everywhere. She is getting on her knees a little bit more but then goes right back down to her tummy. I have some cute pictures from Thanksgiving last week that I'll have to put up when I have more time.

8 Months Old!

Our little darlin' in 8 months old today. She also left me with the most amazing wave "good-bye" this morning when I dropped her off at Kathy's. We almost didn't believe it at first but then she did it 3 more times before I actually made it out the door. Each time I would wave at her and then she'd do it back. She also did it when Joanne dropped of Emma a little bit later. It just made my day! She is growing and changing so much every day it seems.

Here she was last night on her 8 month birthday! Don't you just love that polka dot turtle neck??
She keeps practicing the "real" way to crawl. I think she's started to realize that this way just might be easier then dragging her legs around in the army crawl!
Caught mid smile! Hee hee!
The other day she ended up not having a pacifier ALL day at Kathy's. Even though she was in a pretty good mood all day, she just couldn't quite feel that comfort she's used to and therefore she only napped for 20 min. the whole day. When we got home I changed her diaper, gave her a pacifier and laid her in her crib. Once I was done changing my clothes thos is how I found her...knees up, socks off, arms in the air, sleeping and cuddling with her socks!!

2 weeks ago Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. Kaitlynn got to go shopping with Grammy and all of her Great Aunts and Great Grandma, too during their annual KC Christmas shopping trip. Thankfully mommy has trained her to be a wonderful shopper so you can pretty much take her anywhere! Her Great Grandma Wiese got her this adorable hat.
I think Grandpa Ken likes it, too!

Here is a video of her eating a biter biscuit the other night. Enjoy!

Our 1st Halloween

Here are some pictures from the last 2 weeks of our Halloween fun. We had our annual party last weekend. Here are some pictures of Kaitlynn, Courtney and Olivia. We took a TON of pictures that night. Maybe some day we'll actually get them both smiling at the same time!
We had Olivia hold Kaitlynn because she just isn't interested in sitting still. I wonder where she gets that from??
Here's the escapee!
"Look Courtney, you're being too good. This is how you get into trouble!"
Here are the girls in their costumes
Best buddies! This was Kaitlynn as soon as everyone left. I guess she partied a little too much!

Halloween night... My friend Jenn from high school flew in from Colorado on Thursday so she was here for Halloween and my parents were drving back home from their trip to Branson and so they stayed with us on Friday, too. The weather was so nice we were able to sit outside and hand out candy. Kaitlynn even took a little nap with Grandma.
Happy Halloween Everybody!
The escapee...AGAIN!
